ABOUT US

Feeling Lonely or Struggling With a Loss or Bereavement?

                              We are Here For You

Grief Matters UK has been around since 2014. We are dedicated to supporting individuals and families in times of loss. Mentoring and befriending support could be just what you need. Our program provides one-on-one support to help you navigate life's challenges, with a focus on improving your overall well-being.

Our mentors and befrienders are carefully selected and trained to offer compassionate, non-judgmental support. We understand that everyone's situation is unique, so we take a personalized approach to each relationship. Whether you are looking for someone to talk to, someone to help you set goals and achieve them, or simply someone to accompany you on a walk or outing, we are here to help. Our service is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Some of the areas we can help with include:

Social isolation: If you're feeling alone or disconnected from others, our befrienders can provide companionship and emotional support. Our program is completely confidential and free of charge. We believe that everyone deserves access to support and companionship, regardless of their financial circumstances.

If you're interested in volunteering with us or would like to sign up for support, contact us on Mondays to Fridays between 10 am and 5 pm.
